Questions
Common questions
General information only, not advice for your situation. Rules change; we check what applies to you.
Is my electric car FBT-free?›
An eligible zero or low emission car is exempt if it is under the luxury car tax threshold for fuel-efficient cars. The Budget proposed changes for dearer cars, so check before buying.
Do I need to lodge if I have no FBT to pay?›
Not if you have no liability, but you should keep records showing why.
